CORTADERIA ALERT
It is essential to have a database in order to know where the pampas grass is spreading in areas far from the core area of the invasion if we are to contain the advance of this invasive species.
For this reason, we have expanded the web platform created by the Life STOP Cortaderia Project, in order to collect all the records of the presence of the plant in the Atlantic Arc, and to monitor the removal and restoration actions carried out within the framework of the LIFE COOP Cortaderia project.
Thanks to citizen contributions and the members and collaborators of the Coop Cortaderia LIFE project it is possible to maintain an updated map of the distribution of the pampas grass.

Add our phone number (+34 outside of Spain) to your contacts and send us a photo and the location of any isolated pampas grass plants you find. We know where the large Cortaderia infestations are! You'll help us by locating isolated plants or those in unexpected places.
Citizen Science Platform
This multi-platform application can be used from a PC, tablet, or mobile phone and has been developed by Basoinsa as from an adaptation of the EEIKO platform. All records reflected in this application are shared with the EEIKO and EASIN platforms.
