CORTA-deria Challenges
Promote active participation in science and raise awareness about environmental problems generated by invasive alien species in the territory
The CORTA-deria Challenges consist of an awareness campaign, which will be carried out every year in Portugal, encouraging the population to participate, whether organized or individual, in the detection, communication and elimination of Cortaderia.
In order to boost the activity of the participating entities, a category has been created in the CORTA-deria Challenges aimed at these entities. This biannual award consists of financial support for the execution or continuation of the proposed action and the recording of an informative video about the action.
